SCHOOLchildren swapped winter hats for berets as they said "bonjour" to French  culture.
Children at Clifton Infants had a taste of how their continental cousins enjoy the school day.

They dressed in the colours of the French flag and had a lunch of baguettes and    croissants.

Headteacher, Jane Birkett, said: “The children were all doing different activities throughout the day.

“One class had to construct the Eiffel Tower using art straws and another was learning the words to a French song.

“Others learnt the names of animals and all of the children have been learning some of the basics of the French language.”

Mrs Birkett said: “The children have absolutely loved it. It has given them a real taste of France.”
