A BLUEPRINT for the future of Sitlington will be launched tomorrow.
Members of the parish council have invited the Lord Lieutenant of Yorkshire Dr Ingrid Roscoe to mark the publication of the parish plan.
The event will start at 2pm at the National Coal Mining Museum, on New Road, Overton.
Work on the plan started in 2007 and questionnaires were distributed to all houses in Netherton, Middlestown and Overton.
The plan sets out the council's priority areas for the next five to 10 years and covers subjects including housing, employment and the environment.
Every home in the parish will soon be sent a copy of the hefty document.
For more information, visit www.sitlingtonparishcouncil.gov.uk or call clerk David Dransfield on 01226 709078.
