Teenager hurt in Horbury road accident

A TEENAGER suffered injuries to his foot after he awas involved in an incident with a car outside Horbury School.

The 13-year-old boy got off the school bus and while crossing the road collided with what is believed to have been a red Vauxhall Vectra driven by a woman.

Police said the car stopped briefly before driving off after the incident which happened between 8am and 8.30am on Monday.
