SLAZENGER continued their recent good run of form with a notable 3-3 draw at Doncaster thirds.
But the Horbury-based club will be disappointed with the result because it was only a couple of defensive lapses that cost them victory.
Doncaster opened the scoring when goalkeeper James Walker was unsighted from a short corner.
Minutes later Jonny White drove home the equaliser but, after Paul Wiper had hit the post, Doncaster regained the lead following a defensive mix-up.
Slazenger continued to play good hockey in the second half and drew level through Jez Whawell, breaking into the D and keeping his composure to finish neatly over the Doncaster goalkeeper.
And Ben Graham found the corner with a fierce strike to put Slazenger in front.
But Doncaster pounced on another defensive lapse late on the claim a share of the spoils.
Slazenger will be looking to build on recent performances when they entertain Leeds on Saturday.
