SLAZENGER firsts earned their first league point of the season but could have easily picked up all three points from their home game against high-flying Chapeltown.
The visitors started brightly but the hard-working hosts broke the deadlock when Ben Graham set up John Sykes for the opening goal.

Slazenger looked to increase their lead but the Leeds team hit back to level the game shortly before the break.

Lee Secker made several fine saves for the home side but Slazenger also went close and both Sykes and Graham had good opportunities to restore the lead.

Slazenger's best performance of the season so far should give them a boost ahead of this weekend's clash with York University.
